Local documents are basically files that reside on your computer's hard disk, or even across a Local Area Network. This is where you should open most of your files, as it is not always necessary to use the Internet to retrieve files.

Files of different types can be filtered using the "Filter" option, which by default is set to Web files (such as HTML). Depending on the type of file you open, ScriptWorx automatically selects the most appropriate syntax highlighter for that file. However, you may select a different highlighter once the document is open.
