Database Connectivity - ASP.NET Requirements

To create Active Server pages, you will require the following:

One of the following application servers:

  • Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) on Windows NT/2000.
  • Microsoft Personal Web Server (PWS) on Windows 95 or 98.
  • Halcyon Instant ASP (works with Apache/ServerWorx).
  • Chili!Soft ASP (works with Apache/ServerWorx).

You can choose from either ODBC-based or file-based databases, using ODBC drivers installed on your computer.
