Customizing ScriptWorx - Startup and Shutdown Scripts |
|
It is possible to run a script developed for ScriptWorx at both startup and shutdown - for example, you may wish to delete temporary files or validate all files when you close the application. Use the Preferences Editor within ScriptWorx to set startup and shutdown scripts, selecting both a language for each and a file for each. If you don't want to use the startup and shutdown scripts, please use the "Enable" option for both. Scripts can be located on any drive of your computer, or a mapped network share. Should you find that a script generates an exception when loading, you may need to delete or empty the file. If you wish to keep the script file, but wish to disable it, please use Windows Explorer to navigate to the directory into which ScriptWorx was installed. A program called scrlck.exe will be located in ScriptWorx directory. Running this file resets the startup and shutdown scripts, which can then be modified to work properly with ScriptWorx. |
