ScriptWorx
5 comes with a plethora of syntax highlighters, but it can be frustrating
having to change it when you open a document. We've added a feature so
that when you open a certain file type, it can be highlighted using a
syntax highlighter of your choosing.
Example -
You are opening a Pascal file, but don't want the normal highlighter:
- Open
the "Edit" > "Preferences" window.
- Click
on "File Types".
- Press
the "Add" button In the "File Extension" field, enter in the file extension
for the file type you wish to change - always include the period before
it - here it would be .pas
- From the
"Associate With" field, choose the default highlighter for the file
extension - here it would be Object Pascal. You can specify an unlimited
number of file types, which can even use the same highlighter as another
file type.
