An Image Map defines certain sections of
an image which can be used to link to many different pages. This is useful
if you want a user to click a particular part of a web page, but this
used to be a difficult task with text editors - ScriptWorx has stopped
that.
- Open the Visual Image Map Creator
- Click the "Open" button and
select your image.
- Enter a unique name for your
image map in the "Name" field.
- Using the two shape tools (ellipse or
rectangle) click the appropriate button and enter a link when prompted.
- Resize the map areas as required, this
can be perform by dragging the borders of an area.
- To move any map area, left-click and
hold the mouse down whilst dragging the shape.
- Click the "OK" button to add
your Image Map to your document.
