Windows Startup Options If there are multiple users on the machine running ChatBlocker, it may be necessary to have ChatBlocker startup with windows. If this is the case, ChatBlocker offers a wide array of methods that you can choose to use in this type of environment. They are listed below... Tip: You can find the Windows Startup options by clicking the "Options and Preferences" icon on the main interface, followed by clicking "General Options" inside the window that appears. Starting Up For Single User This method is best for when there is only ONE user of the machine. For example, if you are using Windows 95/98 this would be the best method to choose. This will just simply start ChatBlocker up with Windows for the current user logged on to the system. Starting Up For All Users If there are MULTIPLE users on your machine, it would be best to select this method. By starting up with all users, ChatBlocker will be able to implement itself as a service so that whenever a user logs on, it will automatically run. Disabling Windows Startup If you decide you do not want ChatBlocker to startup with the machine, you can simply select "I do not want ChatBlocker to statup with Windows". This will ensure ChatBlocker is not started up with the machine! |
