ChatBlocker
Security Options
For maximum
protection, ChatBlocker offers an array of security options to ensure
that the lockdown sessions for chatting can NOT be bypassed. These options
can be found under the "Security" area inside the "Preferences
and Settings" window. To open this window, simply click this icon
on the main ChatBlocker interface - it is the third icon from the left
(located at the top of the interface).

Options Available
- Disable Safe Mode Boot Key Sequence
This feature, when enabled, will disable
the Windows Safe Mode boot key sequence from taking effect while the
machine is being booted up. This prevents users from bypassing ChatBlocker
by entering into Safe Mode.
NOTE: This feature is only compatible with Windows 95/98/ME.
It will NOT work on any NT based Windows machine.
- Disable Ability to Skip Startup
Programs
This feature, when enabled, will disable
users of this machine from bypassing the programs that startup with
Windows when the operating system is loading by pressing and holding
the "SHIFT" key.
NOTE: This feature is only compatible
with Windows NT/2000/XP. It will NOT work on any non-NT based Windows
machine.
- Disable Windows Escape Key Sequences
This feature, when enabled, will disable
users the ability to ammpt to terminate the ChatBlocker application
by using Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
NOTE: This feature is compatible
with ALL versions of Windows.
