Installing the Telstra Big Pond Home Internet Access Kit is easy.

Our Kit installs a version of the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser, and then dials up your computer to our signup server so that you can create an account with us.

For Windows^« 3.x Users

To create an account with us installing Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02 and dial-up software, open the File Manager and double click the file iesetup.exe located on this CD in the directory \isp\bigpond\ie3\Win31\eng\

For Windows^« 95 Users

You have the option of installing Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02 or Internet Explorer 4.01 when signing up with us.

To install Internet Explorer 3.02, open Windows Explorer and double click the file setup.exe which is located on this CD in the directory \isp\bigpond\ie3\setup.exe

To install Internet Explorer 4.01, open Windows Explorer and double click the file setup.exe which is located on this CD in the directory \isp\bigpond\ie4\setup.exe

If you already have one of these browsers installed you can create an account without installing our customised versions by running this file - ie4\win95\en\demobin\signup.isp

For Windows^« 98 Users

Our kit contains a version of Internet Explorer 4.01 that is already included with Windows 98. Installing our kit will not reinstall Internet Explorer; it will instead customise and configure it and Outlook Express for connection with Big Pond Home.

To install Internet Explorer 4.01, open Windows Explorer and double click the file iesetup.exe which is located on this CD in the directory \isp\bigpond\ie4\

If you wish to create an account without installing our customised version of the browser, then run this file - ie4\win95\en\demobin\signup.isp

For Macintosh^« PowerPC^«

Please call 1800 804 282 and we will send you a free CD within a few days that has everything you need for installing Big Pond Home on a Macintosh Power PC running MacOS 7.5 or later.

Windows NT^« 4

This Internet Access Kit does not currently support the WindowsNT platform, nor do we offer technical support for customers running that operating system. We do, however, present special installation instructions for creating an account with Telstra Big Pond Home using Windows NT 4.
