Manual Configuration

Windows 95 Configuration
We know you are eager to install your new software and begin exploring the Internet, but before you get started, please take a few minutes to read this short guide. It contains relevant information for a smooth installation and configuration of the software. You should have your TPG Internet Invoice or Voucher with you, which has your username & password, as well as other Setup Configuration details you will require.

A Guided Tour can be followed using Windows Help, under Connecting to the Internet (using Dial-up Networking)

In the Configure, then Options menu, you should select Bring up terminal window after dialling; Enter the Server Type settings menu, and ensure you have a server assigned IP address, specified name server addresses (DNS 1 & 2 details on your TPG Internet invoice), nothing in WINS, and use default gateway on remote network; You can also edit the properties of the Internet icon on your desktop
