It uses a three-dimensional map to plot active storms, whose coordinates and characteristics (wind speed, direction, pressure, and so on) are retrieved from the Internet and automatically imported. This data can also be entered manually. Eye of the Storm calculates a storm's distance from your home location, or any preselected city. If your interests lie in meteorology, then Eye of the Storm could prove both useful and informative -- however, it helps if there is an active storm when using this program!
