Grey Olltwit's "Asteroids" Game

A simple space invaders type game, useful for hand/eye co-ordination and reaction times.

How To Play

Use the ARROW keys to move your craft, which is in front of the convoy it is protecting as they move through an uncharted asteroid field. Use the SPACE BAR key to fire your lasers and destroy the incoming asteroids. Either press "Q" to Quit/Exit the game, select "Quit" in the top menu under Game or press "ALT"+F4. Also use the top menu to turn off the Sound and/or Music by unchecking the "Play Sounds" and/or "Play Music" selections. If you have a joystick or joypad connected, select "Players" in the top menu under "Game" to configure the controls by clicking on the empty square next to Player 1. You can also change the keys used to move and fire on the keyboard with this setup window by clicking the keyboard cross (Button 1 is fire).

The program runs full screen in 640x480 or with a border in higher resolutions. It is best seen in High Colour. It is not recommended for 256 colours.

To uninstall the program go to Control Panel and choose Add/Remove programs. Select Grey Olltwit's Asteroids Game from the drop down list and click the Remove button.

This program was made on a Pentium 166 machine and may not run as well on other machines. By installing this game you accept this and that no resposibility can be accepted for any loss or damage caused by such installation.

Also my system is totally virus free.
