Email Setup

The Email Setup page displays the following fields:

Email Account: Displays your email address.
Email Server: The server that handles your outgoing email.
Password: The password you will use to connect to your Adelphia Internet Email Account.
Validate Password: Validates the password you will use to connect to your Adelphia Internet Email Account.
Display Name: Enter the name in this field that you want to appear to others when you send email. Your display name is the name that appears to recipients of the email you send, and is one way you can personalize your email account. For example, your email address could be jdoe@adelphia.net; however, when you send emails, you may want people to see your full name, John Doe. You would enter John Doe in the Display Name field, and when people receive email from you, this is the name that appears as the person sending the email. NOTE: This field is automatically entered for you based on the account information from the previous page. If you would like to change this information simply edit the fields and add a new display name.

Note: Your email address appears in the Email Account field. The Adelphia High-Speed Internet Installation wizard will capture this information for you and at the end of the installation wizard hwrite it to a file on your desktop. The file will be named: My Adelphia Information.html
