Bill Warren was born in Lafayette, Indiana and is a Graduate of Indiana University's School of Journalism. He worked for seven years in Boulder, Colorado as a concert photographer, and for area newspapers. Since 1988, he has worked as a news photographer of The Ithaca Journal. He has traveled and photographed extensively in South Asia, including three trips to Dharamsala, India to photograph exiled Tibetans for the book Living Tibet: The Dalai Lama in Dharamsala (published Sept. 1995 by SnowLion Publications).
