Massimo Siragusa focuses his attention from the world of the Vatican to the world of politics and society. He has been working with the Agenzia Contrasto and has carried out reportage in Italy and abroad. His professional career began in 1987. In 1989, he received an "honorable mention" in the Italian Selection of the European Kodak Award for a series of photos taken underwater. His work has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, Time, Newsweek, Sette, Epoca, El Pais, Blanco y Negro, and Atalante.
