Pedro Coll abandoned a career as a lawyer at the age of 28 to pursue photography, and has since traveled on assignment to five continents. He specializes in travel, editorial and "stock" work, and has contributed to the collection of A Day in the Life series, namely Spain, Italy, California, and Ireland. In 1994 he took part in the book Passage to Vietnam. In the first quarter of 1995, he worked in Havana, Cuba, on a black and white project. The book El Detenido: La Habana (Havana: Locked in Time) was recently published by Lunwerg Editores, Madrid/Barcelona (1995). Based in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, he is represented by agencies in Barcelona, Frankfurt, London, New York, Milan, Tokyo, and Melbourne.
