Born in the UK in 1960, Dod Miller grew up in the former Soviet Union, the United States and South Africa. He returned to the UK when he was fourteen years old and continued his education in South London. In the mid-80s he started freelancing for the London Sunday Times and later on for the Observer. He joined Network Photographers in 1993.

His work has been published in the national and international press, predominantly in the Observer and Das magazines. He is currently working on various advertising commissions.
