Freelance photographer Olivier Laude has traveled and worked extensively throughout Asia, Europe, and North and Central America. He has covered stories on illegal immigration, youth gangs, rural life in China, and the social consequences of that country's rapid economic development. His work has appeared in such publications as The New York Times Magazine, Time, BusinessWeek and U.S. News & World Report. He is also the publisher and creative director of @tlas, an acclaimed online magazine of photography, design, multimedia and illustration. Born in France, he is currently living in San Francisco with his wife Thorina and 3-month-old Raphael.
