Acey Harper is a graduate of the University of Florida. He began his career working for a small Florida Newspaper, The Fort Meyers News-Press. He was then asked to be a member of the start-up staff of USA TODAY where he worked until leaving to pursue a freelance career. Since then, he has traveled worldwide for such clients as People, National Geographic, Time and USA TODAY. He has won numerous awards for his work which includes photography and photo editing. Most recently, his work was selected for the cover of A Day in the Life of Israel and he participated in the Planet Vegas book project. He now lives in Tiburon, California and in Cyberspace.
