Henry Groskinsky

Henry Groskinsky was interested in photography at a very early age,
10 or 11. He studied commercial and advertising photography at the
School of Industrial Art, New York City. After school he worked
afternoons and nights at the Life Photo Lab. He then became Life's
studio manager and photographers assistant. In 1964 he became a Time
corporate photographer. In 1966 he became a Life magazine staff photographer
where he worked until 1972. He continues to work freelance for Life magazine, Time-Life books,
Smithsonian Magazine and many other publications. He has a photography
studio in New York City.
