Natalie Fobes

Natalie Fobes is a Seattle photographer whose work has appeared in many books and magazines including the National Geographic, The New York Times, Geo, Audubon, U.S. News & World Report, and Newsweek. She has been the subject of many newspaper and magazine articles and was featured on CBS Sunday Morning Edition. Her book, Reaching Home: Pacific Salmon, Pacific People, has won many awards and is in its second edition; she has developed a traveling museum exhibit on the subject. Fobes was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, and won the Scripps-Howard Meeman award. She received an Alicia Patterson Foundation grant and more than 200 other international, national and regional awards for her photography. In addition to her on-going magazine and corporate projects, Fobes is working on two books and an interactive, educational CD-ROM for children.
