Eugene Fisher's work has been featured in many esteemed publications such as Smithsonian, National Geographic, Geo (Germany), Equinox (Canada), Stern (Germany), Outdoor Photographer, Photo District News, and the Los Angeles Times. His work has been exhibited in museums and galleries all over the country and in Canada including the Smithsonian Institution, the Oakland Museum, Chicago Academy of Science, Canadian Museum of Civilization, the Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History, the Ansel Adams Gallery, the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, and at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Eugene Fisher has been recognized for his work by the Polartech Performance Challenge as a two time grant winner, the Communication Arts Photo Annual, the San Francisco Society of Art Directors, the University of California Santa Cruz Founders, and he received the Captian John Noel Photography Award.
