Eric Draper has been working as a staff photographer for the Associated Press since 1993 where he has covered such stories as the Winter Olympics in Norway, Haiti's return to democracy, the earthquake in Kobe, Japan, and the O.J. Simpson trial. He has worked for three newspapers including the Pasadena Star News, The Seattle Times and the Albuquerque Tribune where he was named Scripps Howard Newspapers Photographer of the Year in 1991. He is a 1987 graduate of the Photojournalism program at California State University, Long Beach.
