Pablo Bartholomew

Pablo Bartholomew has been working with the French-American Gamma-Liaison Agency for over nine years. His work has been published in major news and feature magazines all over the world, including: Time, Newsweek, The New York Times, The Sunday Times Magazine, The Independent Magazine, Paris-Match, Bunte, Stern, GEO, and National Geographic Magazine. Pablo received the Press Institute of India Award in 1975 and the World Press award in 1976 for his photo-essay documenting the world of a morphine addict. He also won the World Press Award for The Picture of the Year for an image of a child victim of the Bhopal Gas tragedy in 1985. Pablo Bartholomew's work has been exhibited in the Art Heritage Gallery, New Delhi (1980), the Jehangir Art Gallery, Bombay (1980), The Photographer's Gallery, London (1982), the Museum of Modern Art, Oxford (1985), and the International Center of Photography, New York (1985). His work was also part of the American Society of Magazine Photographers traveling exhibition "10,000 Eyes" commemorating 150 years of photography.
