Digital Identification

The first time you bring up the a2b music Player, the window below appears. You must fill out the contents so a unique digital ID can be created for you.

The Digital ID is akin to a fingerprint; it is used to uniquely identify you as an a2b music client. You cannot purchase songs from the a2b music Store or its partners without it; you cannot load songs into the a2b music Player without it.

The Digital ID gives you both security and ownership. It verifies that the purchased song is downloaded only to the purchaser, and it restricts the playing of your purchased songs to your PC only.
