EnTray Glossary

Shortcut :

A shortcut is a link to some object on your machine and is shown with a small curved arrow on the bottom right side of its icon. To create a shortcut to an object, right-click on the object and choose "Create Shortcut".

System Objects :

A system object is an object on your system which is not a file or a shortcut. System objects can be found on the desktop, in the control panel, in Printers, in Dialup Networking etc. Examples of system objects are "My Computer", "Network Neighbourhood", "Inbox", "Recycle Bin", "Add / Remove Programs", "Add Printer" etc. While system objects cannot be directly used in EnTray, you can create shortcuts to them and use these shortcuts in EnTray.

System Tray :

The right side notification area of your Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0 taskbar, where the system date and some icons (sometimes) appear.
