Description The FTP Remove Direction Action allows you to remove an entire directory from an FTP server. A connection with the server must have already been established using the FTP Login step before you can use the FTP Remove Directory action. In most cases, AutoMate™ can only remove empty directories from an FTP server. You should be sure that any directories you wish to remove are empty using the FTP Delete Action before issuing the FTP Remove Directory step.

Parameters

Direcory Name
Specify the name of the folder to remove. The folder should be a subfolder of the current folder. To change into a new current folder, see the FTP Change Directory action.

Notes

Attempting to remove a directory or file that does not currently exist on the FTP server will not cause the task to fail. The task continues regardless of whether or not the directory is successfully removed from the server.
