Meet the lift
The first thing you'll notice about this little fellow is that he has two buttons, one pointing up and one pointing down. Being a lift, these buttons quite clearly take you somewhere. The down button takes you to the main VNU Mag.net site. This carries all of the best of VNU's titles, including Personal Computer World, Computing, What PC, Internet World and many more. It's especially groovy because you can search all the titles for the stories you want to read, and personalise the site so that you only get to see the things that interest you. While you're down there, the lift stays with you, so that when you tire of information and wish for some honest-to-goodness bollocks, you can click on the up button and come back up to the Room. Be careful, though, as Mag.net has got two floors, so you may need to use the lift twice to come all the way back up. While you're here, safe in the bosom of the Room, the up button doesn't take you anywhere, because this is the room at the top.
