Greetings Workshop

If you suffer from a strange urge to produce personalised cards, banners, certificates and calendars in the home, this is the one for you. Greetings Workshop is fun to use, and has one of the most intuitive interfaces IÆve ever seen. If you expect Blue Peter (popular UK childrenÆs TV programme: see http://www.bbc.co.uk/blue_peter/) style results, though, think again - the Greetings Workshop cards look very professional. You can get away with a black and white printer to use this software, but itÆs enough to encourage you to buy one of the excellent low price colour printers (plenty under ú200 now) on the market.

Unless youÆre very stingy, itÆs unlikely that Greetings Workshop will replace your conventional card buying. Where it comes up trumps is knocking up thank you cards for the childrenÆs birthday presents, or making a card for those occasions when you wouldnÆt bother normally, but it really can make a difference to say "sorry" or "get well" or "I miss you". Great stuff, this.

Overall - Genuine family fun making personalised cards. Priced around ú45 in the UK. Win95 CD. Distributed by Microsoft, web site: http://www.microsoft.com
