MPEG Layer-3 Audio Settings

Encoder
The encoder that will be used to compress the audio. The best encoder is
Radium MP3. For information on how to install, please see:

Bitrate
The default bit rate is 128 kbps. You can choose between bit rates from 32kbps and 320kbps. The higher the bit rate, the more disk space required and the better the quality.

Sample Rate
The sample rate (in Hz).

Generate CRC
For error protection using CRC.

Changing MPEG Layer-3 Audio Settings

  1. In the Main Window select one or more source files or tracks in the list that are to be converted to MP3 format (see Convert to column).

  2. Select Settings from Audio Converter's Output menu or right-click on the selected item(s) and select Audio Settings.
