Now, the App-Link RADX (Rapid Application Data eXchange) control set sets a new standard for inter-process messaging. Using App-Link RADX, programmers can easily transmit and receive messages between processes developed with any tool that can use one of the RADX controls. Messages can be sent between processes within the same application, different applications on the same PC, or different applications on different PCs over a Local Area Network.

The RADX control set includes a VBX, and 16 and 32 bit ActiveX (OCX/OLE) controls, so that means a virtual cornucopia of development environments are supported. For example, App-Link can be used in Microsoft Visual Basic, Microsoft Visual C++, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Borland Delphi, PowerSoft Optima, and many other development tools. What's more, all of the controls can talk to each other, so you can send messages between 16 and 32 bit environments with mixed development platforms.
