GX Effects offers animation and sprite capabilities as well as an optimized "Transparent Put" function. It also contains fxShow, which is a full-featured image display utility. The full source code to fxShow is provided in all supported languages. Many example programs are included, in C, Pascal, and Basic, along with complete games such as Puzzler. There is even an easy to use joystick interface!
Sound support is provided for MIDI and WAV files, without having to learn the Windows API. Play music and sound effects in the background while displaying dissolve effects and animation. Driver files are included to turn your PC Speaker into a sound card emulator for WAV files.
GX Effects for Windows supports many windows compilers, including Microsoft C, Visual C++, Borland C++, Turbo Pascal for Windows, Visual Basic, and any language supporting DLL's.
