TracePlus/Winsock
Do you know where your bugs are ?
TracePlus debugging tools for Windows effortlessly display the interaction between your Windows application and the Winsock, ODBC, DB-Library or Win31 API. TracePlus displays API constants, structures, buffers and flags formatted as in the API specification. For example, TracePlus/ODBC and TracePlus/DB-Library display SQL statements in readable text format. With TracePlus, you can zero in on API functions that fail and the parameters passed to them.
New features for TracePlus/Winsock
- Monitors all open sockets in Windows in real-time, displaying the local and remote IP addresses and associated port numbers for the connection.
- Displays the total calls, total time, average time per call, the fastest and slowest recorded times for each call. Sort options can display this performance information sorted by each available statistic.
- Traces the user message you specified in a WSAxxx (asynchronous) call when it is sent back to your application.
- Displays addresses in both network and IP address format.
- Allows you to specify the location of the WINSOCK.HLP file.
- Allows you to specify the location of the WINSOCK.DLL file. With this feature you can use TracePlus/Winsock with multiple TCP/IP stacks. TracePlus will load the WINSOCK.DLL you specify in the Options dialog box.
