RasterView
Easy image viewing for Windows
RasterView is a smart, simple, easy-to-use image viewing application for Microsoft Windows. It provides a flexible interface with options for tailoring the environment and appearance of images to meet your specific needs. You can use RasterView to look at scanned images, photos, and so on, in many image formats. It stands alone as an image viewer or can be integrated into an application using Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE).
With RasterView, you can do the following:
- Display black and white or color images
- Change the way you view the image
- By zooming, rotating, and scrolling the image
- Reposition or remove the dockable tool bars
- Copy interesting parts of an image
- (or the full image) to the Clipboard
- Take a close-up of an image with a magnifying glass
- (Two types available) while still seeing the full image
- Remember where you are on an image
- By looking at your current position
- through the reference window
- Figure out what a menu item or tool bar button can do
- Via pop-up bubble help
- View several images at the same time on the screen
- Tile them vertically or horizontally or
- Cascade them while comparing them
- Print part or all of an image to any printer
- Adjust the view of an image by
- Applying bitonal and color options
- Smooth the image, scale to gray, and adjust the palette
- Set up preferences for initial image display
- Where the application is placed
- What actions are applied to the mouse buttons
- Page through the images contained
- In a multiple page image file (TIFF, DCX)
- Create your own multiple image file
- By using our Image File Lists (IFLs)
- Control the display of images from another
- Application by using the DDE commands
