The
GridView
menu controls the right-hand area of the screen, where the thumbnail images are
displayed. | |
 The
Show
submenu gives you choices about what is shown on the main GridView
screen. Experiment with the various options to see what you find most useful.
|
Default Orientation
allows you to rotate all the images at once. It's useful if you have a folder
containing only portraits, for example, which need to be rotated to vertical orientation.
 Sort
mode
controls the order in which the images appear on the screen.
If
Lock cell
size is unchecked, you can drag the right or the bottom edge
of any GridView
cell to change size at which the cells are displayed. If Lock
cell size is unchecked, you can't - unless you hold down the
Control key, which disables the lock.
 | Cell
Size & margin
brings up a dialog box which gives you control over the thumbnail display.
|
Default
cell size redraws the thumbnails at the size specified under Grid View's
Preferences or at the
size specified by the save
as default button at the bottom of the box. You
can scroll in various ways in GridView. The PageDown
key or the Spacebar
scroll the display down a page; PageUp
or Shift-Space
scroll it up a page. The Arrow
keys select adjacent cells; if Option
is depressed at the same time, they scroll the display slowly, and the Home
and End
keys are also active. NOTE:
You can set
permanent controls for many of GridView's characteristics using GridView's Preferences. |
