File Menu

The File menu works in the standard Mac way. One thing to watch for is in the dialog box you get from the Open menu: when you arrive at the folder you want to display the images from, remember to hit the Choose button rather than the default Open button.

Choose Folder

You can set up a series of Favorite folders that you frequently open: Boatpics and PlansForAirport in the example below. When you select one of these items, PhotoGrid opens the folder you've chosen and displays all the pictures in it.

Once a folder of pictures is displayed, add it to your Favorites by selecting Add current TreeView top here.

To remove a Favorite from the list, select Edit this Menu.

A dialog box opens with a list of your current Favorites:

Clicking on one of the items results in a double line being drawn through it, and when you close the box, by clicking OK, the deleted Favorite will no longer be in the list. If you click again on the deleted item while the dialog box is still open, the double line is removed and the Favorite remains in the list.

There are two other ways of adding items to the list. One uses TreeView, and the other uses the Move/Copy dialog.
