Newly hired as a cab driver, you're job is to transport the most people you can from a place to another or else you new boss will kick your ass, and then fire you. But you're not limited by roads, lights, stop signs or whatever. If you decide to go by the schoolyard during recesse to save up some time and gaz its up to you. Of course don't expect the local authorities to let it happen the way you want. Time and gaz are two important things. More times it takes you to pick up a client and take it to his destination, more gaz you're burning. And when you have no fuel left, you just ..die. Also, it is very important to remember that your speed must be BELOW 30Km to pick up a client, or else you will just kill him, and at the same time lose the money he would've gave you.. To find a client, just follow the red arrow over your cab. And to drop the client, completely stop your taxi over the red flashing spot. 2.Basic Requirements------------ To run the game, you need a 486/66 with 8 megs of ram with. But I really recommend having at least a Pentium 133 with 16 megs of ram (this game was created on this type of computer. 3.Elements---------------------- Of the many things you'll find in @#%& city, not all are bad or evil. Of the bad ones, the police comes in first. But not always, if you haven't killed anyone yet, it will just take some energy off your energy bar (located at the top of the screen). If you made some victims, the police will chase you, and eventually kill you (they don't mess with your type in #@$& city it seems). So its up to you to decide if you're a nice or a bad cab driver. Circulation in #@$)@! city is awful, many people don't give a lot about rules, or you.. if you get in their face, they won't mind running over your cab if it saves them a few seconds. Every time you get hurt by a moving vehicules, your cab will be damaged, if you hit a stopped or parked vehicule you'll get some damage too, but a bit less. Hopefully once in a while you'll find some crates filled with happyness to help you in your quest. The energy crate refills your energy bar, the gaz crate will refill your gaz. The ghost crate will make you invisible to police officers for a fiew seconds, and the invicibility crate will have you hunt the police cars to trash them. 4.Controls----------------------- As easy as any other driving game of this type Up arrow: Accellerate Down arrow: break/reverse Left/Right arrows: ... well.. left/right? Shift: Accelleration boost (2X your current speed, nice in police related situations) Control: Handbrake M: Brings the map (N will close it) 1,2,3: Changes in game music X: Destroy all corpse lying around (if framerate gets slow) ALT-F4: If you wish to quit the game anytime 5.Known Bugs--------------------- If you find bugs in Taxi, please send me a e-mail telling what the bug is, and what you did. -Don't know if its really a bug.. but please PLEASE if you have Click and Create installed on your computer be sure you got the 16 bit version installed or else the game won't run full screen. -Sometime the destination or the client face takes a while to display. 6.About Nelleht Entertainment---- Nelleht Entertainment is a very very small company who creates games to make peoples life better.
