DISABLING CALL WAITING Contact your phone company for the code to disable call waiting. The call waiting tone will interrupt your modem connection. To disable call waiting in Windows 95: Open the Windows Control Panel and click Modems. Click Dialing Properties. Check "This location has call waiting" and type the appropriate code for your phone company. Click OK to close the Dialing Properties box. Click OK to close the Modems box. Close the Windows Control Panel. To disable call waiting in Windows 3.1: Click the telephone on the InterGO desk. Click the Connection you use to connect. Click Properties. Click Location. Find "This location has call waiting. To disable it," and type the appropriate code for your phone company. Click Close to close the My Dialing Locations box. Click OK to close the Internet Access Information box. If you have voice messaging from the phone company, and a message is left, you may not be able to connect to your service provider.
