OptOut 0.99 Many shareware programs are installed with advertising software from Radiant (formerly Aureate). The problem is that even once the program is registered or uninstalled, the advertising software installed with the host program remains behind. This advertising program (sometimes known as æSpywareÆ) often continues to send and receive information without the userÆs knowledge. OptOut will remove RadiantÆs software and associated dll files. More detailed information is available at the OptOut site. Note: Some programs may cease functioning once OptOut has cleaned a system - particularly those that require the advertising dlls to run. |
