Despite being two years old, Half-life patches continue to appear. Depending on your current version, the new patch will adds enhanced features such as the Team Fortress Classic (TFC) mod, while fixing more bugs and stability issues. After previously spawning four separate patches, now there are just two. The smaller version (1.6MB) is for games recently updated from the Internet (ver 1.1.0.0 which included TFC 1.5), while the second patch will work on all other previous versions (37MB). The updates are essential if you have an early version of the game and wish to run any of the Half-life mods circulating on the Internet. Both will upgrade Half-life to version 1.1.0.1 and are on this monthÆs CD or from www.sierra.com.
