Repairing Netscape
Tip In response to the question from Marie McLaurin (When Netscape doesn't communicate, March '97 p164) I experienced a similiar problem, although I hadn't re-installed any software. Like Marie, all relevant settings were checked and re-checked to no avail. The helpdesk for my ISP were very patient too but they could not solve the problem either. As a final effort, they suggested that I create a new connection through Win95's dial-up networking and bingo! all was OK again and still is.
