Configuration

In the configuration window you can alter general settings for Steganos.

Standard password file

Specify the file to be opened automatically when the Password Management is activated. This option is set automatically when the Password Management is closed the first time.

Encrypt only (do not hide) by default

If this option is activated Steganos Explorer will use the function by default. This is useful if you use the Steganos Explorer mainly for encryption and not for hiding data. The default setting is to hide and encrypt.

Use SmartCard support

If you encounter problems with SmartCard support you can deactivate it here. The SmartCard support is activated by default.
