Opera 5.01 (with Java)
Opera Software
has released Opera 5.0 for Windows and it is now free.
On installation, Opera defaults to the "Sponsored" mode. However,
there is the option of switching to Paid/ Registered mode, in which
case all ad-related code will be completely uninstalled. The cost
to do so remains at $US39.
New in the 5.0 version is a search capability, as well as an Instant
Messaging client. The new integrated Instant Messaging Client offers
the possibility to chat with anyone using the ICQ instant messaging
protocol. Also new to 5.0 are improvements to existing functionality
and features, including; JavaScript, email, stability enhancements,
more efficient memory usage and augmented web accessibility

from the e:/browsers/opera/ directory of this CD (where "e" is your
CD drive).
