Start Menu> Programs> HyCD Play and Record> HyCD FX

How to Record Audio from LP & Tape

  1. Connect LP or tape player to Line-In port on your computer
  2. Select Line as input; select output file
  3. Adjust Special Effect filter and Pop Filter; press Record button
  4. After audio file is recorded, select HyCD Copy and HyCD Paste to create a music CD

NOTE: We recommend using a stereo mixer to amplify your LP or Tape recording. Without using a Stereo mixer the sound volume may be too low.

  2. Select Mic as input; select output file
  3. Adjust Special Effect filter and Pop Filter; press Record button
  4. After audio file is recorded, select HyCD Copy and HyCD Paste to  create a music CD

Free for Personal Use.

Most CD readers, although rated faster than 6X for data reading, can onlly extract audio at 6X reliably.  Because of this, we set the audio extraction speed to 6X by default.  If this is still too fast, the speed will be reduced automatically until the correct setting is reached.  The only readers that can extract audio at a higher speed reliably are made by Plextor.  If you use one of these readers the software will extract the audio at a higher speed.
