HyCD Editor

Using HyCD Editor

There are 3 functions of the HyCD Editor:
1-
MP3 Tagging
2-
TDS Enhancement
3-
Watermark

These functions can be used individually or in conjunction with each other.  For the purpose of this help site we will treat them each individually.

Getting Started

Open HyCD Editor by selecting Start/ Programs/ HyCD Play&Record/ HyCD Editor.

To open an existing project, select the Open Folder in the top menu bar.

MP3 Tagging

Use this option to add lyrics, images, band and artist information to your MP3 files.
To learn more about ID 3v2 Tagging click the About.. button in the Artist/Bank Information window.

Add Artist/Band
1- Double-click on the Artist/Band folder. 
2- Check the ID 3V2 Tag check box to add MP3 Tagging to your MP3 file.
3- Fill in the Artist/ Band information, press OK
4- Fill in the Contact Information (not required)

Add Album
1- Double-click on the Album folder to bring up the Album Information Window.
2- Add Album Name, select the album cover graphic (not required) and any other
    information, Press OK
3- To add additional albums, right-click on the Artist/Band folder and select "Add
    Album".

Add MP3 files
There are two methods to add MP3 files to the Album folder:
1- Right-click on the Album folder and select "Import MP3"
2- Highlight the Album folder then Drag and Drop MP3 files using Windows
    Explorer to HyCD Editor

Editing MP3 Files
1- Double-click on the MP3 file under the Album Folder
2- Edit or add information to any fields, press OK
   NOTE:  TDS Enhancement and Watermarking may also be added at this point.

Start Tagging Process
1- Once all information for the Artist, Album and MP3 files is entered you can start the tagging process by selecting "Start Processing" button.

View Tagging Information
1- Once you have tagged your MP3 files you can view the tagged information in our HyCD Player Program. 

TDS Enhancement

Use this feature to your MP3 files to enhance the audio quality and sound.
To learn more about TDS Enhancement click the About.. button in the Artist/Bank Information window

Add TDS Enhancement to your MP3 files
1- Follow the directions above to add Artist, Album and MP3 files (if necessary)
2- Double-click on the MP3 file under the Album Folder
3- Select the TDS Enhancement Box. 
4- Select the Level of TDS Enhancement (Level 3 is for the best quality), Press OK
5- Once all information for the Artist, Album and MP3 files is entered you can start the TDS Enhancement by
     selecting "Start Processing" button

Playback
You can use any audio player to listen to your TDS Enhanced MP3 files.

Watermarking

This feature will allow you to embed data you select into the MP3 file. Once embedded, this information survives music editing, production, format conversion (including D/A and A/D conversions), compression, streaming, broadcast, etc.  Basically copyright protection.
To learn more about Audiokey Watermark click the About.. button in the Artist/Bank Information window

Add Watermarking to your MP3 files
1- Follow the directions above to add Artist, Album and MP3 files (if necessary)
2- Double-click on the MP3 file under the Album Folder
3- Select the Audiokey Watermark Box
4- Enter the text that you would like the watermark to contain, press OK
5- Once all information for the Artist, Album and MP3 files is entered you can add
    the Watermark by selecting the "Start Processing" button

Checking the Watermark
1- Import the MP3 file(s)
2- Right-click on the MP3 file and select "Decode Watermark"
