Adding files to Media Library
The Media Library feature is a collection of all the media content available from your computer, which includes all the media files that exist on your computer as well as links for locating content that you previously played.
Note Playing a CD track doesnÆt automatically add it to Media Library.
To add files to your media library, you can do any of the following:
- Use the CD Audio feature to copy CD tracks to your hard disk drive. Click the Copy Music button.
- On the File menu, click Open, and then locate the file that you want to add to the Media Library.
- On the File menu, click Add to Library, and then click Add File. Locate the file that you want to add to the Media Library.
- Double-click a media file in Windows Explorer to play it.
- Drag-and-drop a file from Windows Explorer into Media Library.
