Applications
The Applications tab lists the IomegaReady applications installed on your computer system and a brief description of what you can do with that program. Click on the application icon or description to launch the program. You may also view help information by clicking on the question mark icon associated with the desired program. Launch tutorials that may be available by clicking on the projector icon.
Options
The Options tab allows you to customize settings for startup, the drive icons and the IomegaWare program window. After setting or resetting your options, click the Apply button to save the changes.
Startup Options
When the Start Automatically with Windows option is selected, the IomegaWare program will load automatically each time you start your computer. If this option is not selected, you will need to launch IomegaWare manually when you want to use the program. See Accessing IomegaWare Utilities in the Introduction to IomegaWare section for information on starting the program manually.
Drive Icon Options
The Send To directory is a menu option in Windows when you RIGHT mouse click on a file icon. You can send a file directly to another drive or location on your system. The Create drive shortcuts in Send To directory option in IomegaWare creates shortcut icons for the Iomega drives connected to your computer in the Send To directory. When the shortcuts are created, you can use the Send To command to move a file directly to your Iomega drive.
The Create drive shortcuts on Desktop option creates Iomega drive icons on your Windows Desktop. When this option is deselected, the Iomega drive shortcut icons are removed from the desktop. The drive shortcuts on your desktop operate the same as the drive icons in My Computer or Windows Explorer.
IomegaWare Options
Always on top makes the IomegaWare window visible on your monitor all of the time.
Use small icons when in Compact Mode displays IomegaWare as a small window with only the drive shortcut icons visible. See Setting the IomegaWare Window to Compact Mode in the Introduction to IomegaWare section for information on using the compact mode.
