Create a desktop Shortcut to browser bookmarks

Q Instead of using the Bookmarks feature in Netscape Communicator, I would like to arrange my URLs in a folder on my desktop, then be able to open my browser and my bookmarked pages from there. Can this be done?

A What you have in mind is as easy as creating a new folder, then dragging and dropping URLs from Communicator's Bookmarks list (or Internet Explorer 4.0's Favorites/Organize Favorites list). Right-click in an empty place on your desktop and select New--Folder. Right-click the New Folder icon, select Rename from the pop-up menu, and give the folder a new name.
Double-click the folder to open it. In Communicator, click the Bookmarks icon and select Edit Bookmarks. Then simply drag and drop icons from the Bookmarks list into your new folder.

Organise your Web page bookmarks into folders on your desktop. Then open your browser and Web pages from there

Now when you double-click a bookmark in the folder, you'll automatically launch Communicator and go to that page.
