Unleash a search hound
I have a dog who, if you put him on a scent, just keeps going and going, pawing, digging, running, sniffing. He'll never stop. That's the concept behind Dogpile (www.dogpile.com). Dogpile picks through not only major searchers like Yahoo, Excite and AltaVista but also gateway services such as Mining Co and Usenet databases like Deja News, plus FTP searchers and even news wires, including business ones. It will even search weather sites. You can tell Dogpile to search specific resources for a set period of time ù say, 60 seconds ù then move on to another one. I wish I could teach my dog that trick. - Judy Heim |
