To remove copies of outgoing e-mail messages
By default, Outlook Express saves copies of the e-mail you send in the Sent Items folder. To save disk space, you can change this setting.
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- On the Send tab, clear the Save copy of sent messages in the 'Sent Items' folder check box.
Note
- If you stop automatically saving copies of e-mail, you can still save a copy of a message by typing your e-mail name in the Cc box when you compose the message.
