1. System Requirements
==================================================================  

· EP Folders is designed to run on 486 processors or higher with
  Windows 95, 98, NT (SP4 or higher), and 2000 operating systems.

· Approximately 3.5 MB of free hard disk space is needed to
  install the EP Folders user program.

2. Known Issues
==================================================================
 Known issues will be addressed in future releases. 

· Administrator-defined password restrictions are not applied when
  a password is created for shipping a folder on removable media.

· An error message may appear when you attempt to protect folders
  with accented or non-English characters in the name. WORKAROUND:
  Create a new folder at the root of the drive that does not con-
  tain accented or non-English characters. Move the folder contain-
  ing the accented or non-English characters into the newly created
  folder. You will then be able to add the folder to the Protected
  Folders List.

· Protecting a folder before making it an offline folder may
  produce a synchronization error in Outlook.

3. 3rd Party Compatibility Issues

· Rational ClearQuest 2.0 over-writes data files created by EP
  Folders. WORKAROUND: Uninstall ClearQuest and then install EP
  Folders. Contact Rational for information on how to create a 
  different installation location.

· There are various compatibility issues with Executive Software's
  Diskeeper that cause encrypted files to remain encrypted and un-
  readable.

4. Documentation Issues
==================================================================
· When EP Folders is uninstalled, the EP Folders directory is not
  removed. The EPF-Recover.exe file remains in the folder to enable
  the user to recover encrypted files once EP Folders is unin-
  stalled.
